Mrs. Reed’s Six-Word Memoir

Daddy’s Girl

My dad moved us to Florida,
I was big fish, small pond,
I learned to write novels there. A daddy’s girl through and through,
I slaved away for my father,
Hoping his dreams would come true. He moved us to Round Rock.
Still clinging to someone else’s dream,
I graduated from our homeschool-school. I designed my homeschool lesson plans,
I taught myself literature and composition,
I was a blogger, sort of. I started at Austin Community College,
Majoring in psychology was not right.
I tutored. I fell in love. At UTeach I found my dream.
Teaching is hard, but so right.
Students need to read and write.
